| :they arent really. Lok at a dyno chart side by side. Stage 3 at 3k rpm makes 300hp and the tdo5's also make 300hp at 3krpms. Its just that at 6k rpms the Tdo5's make way more power. Peopl perceive this as lag. when in actuality it was making more power all along you just get hit with such an extream amount of power at the end. Hmm... which dynos are you looking at? I'd like to see turbos that make 300hp at 3k rpm. According to my research, stock turbos make about 150hp at 3krpm and TD05's make about 110hp at that point. Clearly, according to the average of multiple dynos shown below, there is a difference in power until 4400rpm. I can understand your point... it's a very valid one and a good explanation of how things can be misperceived; however, the data seems to indicate otherwise.
